Anxiety or Fears

Anger Management:

Difficulties with anger management can often be linked to a lack of proper modeling during childhood, trauma, and certain difficult life circumstances. If you struggle with anger issues and anger management, we’ll work with you to explore the root of your anger, and how the anger may be trying to help protect or help you have your needs met (albeit with adverse effects!).

We can also work with you to better understand what triggers your anger and to help you to learn ways to manage it more constructively. This will allow you to deal with it in a more beneficial manner.

Borderline Personality Disorder:

One of the most painful experiences anyone can face is to live in fear of losing connection and being abandoned or rejected. Dissociative Disorders:

Dissociation is often the result of stored childhood trauma. It is the body and brain's way of protecting us in overwhelming situations that we are unable to escape or cope with at the time of the event. Our team uses a trauma-sensitive methodology to work with clients who struggle with dissociation.

Whether you have periods of zoning out and "losing time" or you’re aware of parts of your unique self as “distinct”, we will work with you to navigate through the symptoms of dissociation and to look at the function it serves. Understanding that there is a range of ways in which dissociative disorders can manifest, we will work with you in an open, non-judgmental, and compassionate way.

Sometimes loss and grief stem from estranged relationships or friendships, abandonment or divorce, financial traumas, moving away from a loved one, infertility or miscarriage, as well as the loss of time due to all the wishes and dreams that were never realized.
